AMERICAN LEATHER – Campaign Concepts
American Leather is a maker of high-end, exquisitely crafted home furnishings. In particular, they're renowned for their comfortable and luxurious seating designs. They approached me to create some new concepts that showcased their beautiful new photography from Chris Nastri. This was a super-fun project. I love the aesthetic of the product, so it was easy to get inspired. In addition to designing the look, I got to utilize my writing chops, crafting the voice of the work by providing copy.
Print campaign
American Leather gives each of its designs a distinct name. Most of these labels sound similar to people’s names. "Finley," "Dean," that sort of thing. Like people, each piece of furniture has its own unique character, so the following campaign expresses its message by using personality profiles of the showcased designs. For a friendly vibe, product traits take on the "voice" of the furniture and are casually handwritten. The package is neatly wrapped up with the tagline "Each piece has a personality. Just like your home."
