FREEMAN LEONARD – WEBSITE ILLUSTRATIONS

Freeman Leonard, one of Dallas’ top staffing agencies for marketing professionals, wanted to revamp their website. They hoped to sprinkle in some fun, so they contacted me.

A hallmark of Freeman Leonard’s brand is their friendly approach to business. They wanted a cheerful mascot that exuded charm, confidence and skill. A model employee that could save the day. A hero, of sorts. More specifically, a businessman in a cape. With that, I set about developing the character. Thus was born a smiling, ever-eager fellow they affectionately called “Artie.”

The character needed to be illustrated, yet grounded in reality. What to do? I drew Artie, then retouched him into business environments. All told, I created an expansive library of banners, spot illustrations and icons. Bold and uniquely Freeman Leonard, these images joined forces to help the new site really take flight.
