ROCKWATER ENERGY SOLUTIONS – Corporate ID

Rockwater Energy Solutions is a fluids management and environmental solutions provider. The "wave-to-rock" design is representative of hydraulic fracturing, or "fracking," which is essentially the process of injecting liquid at high pressure into rocks in order to force open existing fissures and extract oil or gas. It all sounded very technical to me when I first researched the subject, so I designed the logo to communicate the idea simply. The bold wave brought a graphic unity to the package that I really liked. (That blue is my favorite color certainly didn't hurt.)
